Fireplace Candles Glowing Stainless Steel Fireback

Did you know that you can turn a little light from your fireplace candelabra into a glowing display? The light of a candelabra is beautiful and serene as it is, but it doesn’t take much to turn its simplistic beauty into a magical show of light.

Reflect and Shine
Reflective surfaces in your fireplace, under your candelabra, or behind it, can double the candlelight and make a dramatic difference in the room. To see the magic firsthand, place a large mirror under your candelabra and watch the spellbinding glow!

If you don’t have a mirror large enough to use as a base for the fireplace candelabra, try completely covering the fireplace floor with heavy duty aluminum foil. Another option you have is to place a large, unframed mirror against the back of your fireplace wall. It will appear as though you have twice as many candles lit.

Glowing Embers
For some color variation, set your candelabra on a tray or cookie sheet inside the fireplace. Fill the tray with a generous amount of clear glass pebbles or mirror pebbles . You can use clear glass or choose colors that complement the color theme of the room.

If you have a stainless steel fireback with a mirror polished finish, you can use its adjustable base to reposition to an angle that causes it to throw the light back into your home. Or with a tri-fold stainless steel fireback, you can reflect and amplify the candlelight from your fireplace candelabra from three sides.
