Indoor Log Holders
Indoor log holders are for keeping some firewood handy by the
hearth. Typically, they hold about four to twelve fire logs. Some models even have special storage for kindling and newspaper.
European designers have created our stunning modern log holders in
glass and stainless steel. Our hand-made copper tubs, buckets and cauldrons will hold your firewood in grand style and help keep debris from firewood off your
hearth.
A variety of rectangular steel log holders will go with any décor.
Traditonal log baskets come in a variety of metals and finishes and are often used as magazine holders.
The smaller copper cauldrons make terrific holders for fatwood or
other fire starters.
All log holders manufactured by Enclume or by Stone County Iron
Works are proudly Made in America.
Outdoor Firewood Racks
If you like to keep a good quantity of firewood on hand, an outdoor
log rack will keep your firewood off the ground while letting your wood air dry. Firewood in contact with the ground often becomes infested with termites.
You'll find a selection of sturdy steel outdoor log racks from 2
feet to 16 feet long, holding up to a full cord of firewood! Covers are included on some models and available as options on other models. Many of these racks
have covers only about a foot deep, insuring that you'll always have dry firewood while allowing air to circulated through the uncovered logs.
Log hoops in the 36" and 48" sizes are also great for outdoor
firewood storage. We offer the 36" and 48" sizes in powder coated steel, and the 36" size in stainless steel. A cover is available for all 36" models.
When selecting an outdoor rack for your logs, consider the maximum
amount of firewood you have on hand. Racks 45 to 48 inches long will hold a quarter-cord of firewood; ones 87 to 96 inches store a half-cord.
Log Carriers
Bringing firewood indoors is a strenuous, messy job. The
sharp edges of split wood dig into one's arm while carrying an armload of firewood. Log carriers in canvas or leather can hold several logs with ease while
keeping the shreds of bark and the dust from the firewood off your floor. There are metal racks that hold the log carrier and its contents near your hearth once
indoors.
Log Carts
A log cart lets you bring in and store a larger amount of firewood
than a log carrier can—up to 10 fire logs. Easy on the back, our log cart has a heavy canvas liner to keep firewood debris off your floor.
Log Holders with Fireplace Tools
A log holder that also stores a set of fireplace tools offers
convenience and efficient use of space. Ours will hold 6 to 10 hefty logs. Some styles include storage space for newspaper and kindling, too.
