Blowpokes, Blow Pokes or Aerator Pokers are a traditional way of stoking your fire. Use a blowpoke move
around or stir your fire's ashes. But the blow poke's unique use is as a human bellows: Place the tip of the blowpoke into the base of the fire and blow into the
handle end. The targeted blast of extra air helps to jump-start a new fire or give an existing fire an assisting "breath of air." An important characteristic of
blow pokes or aerator pokers is their length. No need to get too close to the hot fire to either poke the ashes or coals or to stoke the fire with extra air with a
