	Here is the combination chimney cap and exhaust fan that will correct draft problems in almost any chimney! The ENERVEX Fan, also known as Exhausto Fan chimney fan, mounts atop the chimney, where it literally sucks the smoke from the flue.

Even difficult drafting problems such as poorly proportioned corner fireplaces, see-through fireplaces, backdrafting fireplaces, or odors from your chimney are solved with the ENERVEX Fan (also called Exhausto Fan). ENERVEX Fans, Exhausto Fans, are appropriate for masonry, air-cooled, and solid packed flues as well as for woodstoves and fireplace inserts.

The motor of the Exhausto Fan, now called ENERVEX Fan, is completely enclosed and maintenance free with air-cooled, prelubricated, sealed ball bearings. Each ENERVEX, Exhausto Fan, comes with a prewired junction box, a bird screen, fiber mat, mounting brackets, and a 5 Amp fan speed motor control. With the ENERVEX (Exhausto) Fan's motor speed control, you can adjust the speed of the fan from the room where you have the fireplace. The ENERVEX Fan, previously called Exhausto Fan, also serves as a ventilator: Turn it on when you need to refresh the air in the room, and the ENERVEX Fan will pull out stale odors and cigarette smoke.

The Exhausto Fan, know called ENERVEX Fan, is designed for minimum energy consumption, using about as much energy as a regular light bulb. The ENERVEX Fan motor has a totally enclosed split capacitor; Class H insulated, IP54 protection class; sealed ball bearings, variable speed, and thermal overload protection.

Note: Before installing, check local codes as some local codes prohibit the use of chimney fans on gas and oil furnaces. We strongly encourage you to have the 110V wiring installed by a certified electrician. If you wish to install an ENERVEX Fan, also called Exhausto Fan, on a solid-pack chimney or an air cooled chimney, order the appropriate adaptor, too.


	To determine which ENERVEX (Exhausto) Fan model to order, you will need:


	the *shape* of your flue (round, square, or rectangular) the *size* of your flue (the dimensions of a square or rectangular flue; the diameter of a round flue)


	the width (in inches) of your fireplace opening multiplied by the height (in inches) of your fireplace opening. This will give you the *square inches of your fireplace opening.* NOTE: If you have a see-through fireplace, add the square inches of the larger side and 1/2 the square inches of the smaller side to determine your "fireplace opening size."
