This is our most versatile fireplace fireback! It's simple, but with the decorative edging and shaping, it's anything but boring. Use it horizontally, vertically, or in horizontal or vertical sets of two, three, or more. When grouped, they make the perfect cast iron fireback for large or even huge fireplaces, but at a fraction of the cost that a single panel fireback that size would cost.  The simple elegance of this cast iron Plain fireplace fireback makes it ideal for every decorating style. And nothing can beat its price! 
Each Plain fireplace fireback is made of 32 pounds of black cast iron. These firebacks gather the heat of your fireplace that would otherwise just be heating the back of your firebox, and then radiate that heat into your room, generating more warmth in the room at no added cost. The Plain fireplace fireback works for either wood fireplaces or gas fireplaces. 
You can lean this striking cast iron fireback against the back of your fireplace or use the fireback stands below to secure it. If you are using more than one Plain fireback, we strongly suggest you use a set of fireback stands with each fireback to assure the firebacks line up properly.
