Installation Instructions
for R-CO Chimney Surrounds

1. Lay our 4 Mounting Brackets (MB) and screw or lag bolt to the roof framework.
    
2. Cut flashing (not included) and bend up inside edges approximately one inch. Position on the roof on the outside edge of the mounting brackets. 
   Install 2A-2B-2C. Apply a small amount of roof coating (not included) under each before nailing into position.
    
3. Assemble chimney surround panels (A). Position unit on top of roof outside of the mounting brackets (MB). Drill and screw on each corner (B).
    
4. Cut the chimney crown-like cap opening to the desired pipe size to match your existing roof pipe. Screw the chimney crown-like cap to the chimney panels.
    
5. Position and screw the 4 trim pieces against the lower edge of the chimney crown-like cap.
    
6. Install roofing around the chimney surround.
    
7. Top the roof pipe with its existing cap or with a chimney cap for a round flue.
