The Vacu-Stack Chimney Cap cures most wind-related smoky fireplace back puffing problems. For example, if you
live near mountains or hills, or by tall buildings or trees, these obstacles may deflect wind down your chimney, overcoming the draft and forcing fireplace smoke into your
home. But when wind hits the uniquely designed Vacu-Stack chimney cap, it actually increases the draft in proportion to the wind. So the stronger the wind blows, the harder

These Vacu-Stack Chimney Caps work great on

- masonry chimneys,
- single wall metal flues, and
- double wall flues with solid-pack insulation.

If you are installing a Vacu-Stack Chimney Cap for a wood stove, select one that is not less than the size of the appliance smoke outlet.
TheseVacu-Stack Chimney Caps are made of 26-ga., 304-alloy stainless steel. (If you prefer a copper Vacu-Stack chimney cap, call us at
888-834-7375 or e-mail us the item number of the Vacu-Stack in which you are interested in copper.) Many of the sizes below can be ordered either without screening or with stainless steel wire screens. The wire screens, also know as Bird Guards, function as spark arrestors as well as limiting access of leaves, debris, birds, and other animals.
These chimney caps fit snugly inside round metal or masonry flues, so measure the inside diameter of your flue to know which size to select.
We also carry two sizes of Vacu-Stacks for oval flues. These come with a free adapter. Install the
Vacu Stack adapter for oval flues with a bead of Chimney Cap Adhesive to seal where the adapter and the top of your flue meet.
Most Vacu-Stack chimney caps ship in two weeks. The Vacu-Stacks for flues 10 inches or larger in diameter are not made by the facto ry until you order them, so they will ship in about three weeks.
