Please note that there must be adequate space between the top of your flue and the lid of the chimney cap to assure proper draft of your fireplace. These Aluminum
Band-Around Brick Chimney Caps are only appropriate for flues that protrude 3.5 inches or less above the top of the top row of bricks.
