How to Install an Inside Mount Chimney Cap

If you have an inside mount chimney cap for a round clay tile flue, just push it down into the flue for a tight friction fit. 
You can seal the joint with a silicone sealer if you want extra security for your chimney cap.
Seal around the joint with a silicone sealer.
Just slip a friction fit chimney cap down into a round clay flue, applying a silicon sealer if you prefer.
